Western Slope’s favorite guitarist Javier de los Santos returns to the Western Slope Concert Series, this time collaborating with pianist Kathryn Mientka Farruggia. Together they will perform the virtuoso guitar/piano “Grand Duo Concertant” by Moscheles and Guiliani, and the beautiful Fantasia by Castel-nuovo-Tedesco. Guitar solos, including the hauntingly beautiful “Asturias,” and piano solos will fill out this romantic and exciting program. Javier has performed internationally and teaches guitar at CMU.
